Our Little Friends

One of our greatest joys in Honduras has been watching our little monkey friends bounce and play at our kitchen window. We hope you enjoy them too. :) (had trouble getting our best video to upload. sorry)

Our curious but skiddish little white faced monkeys love to make faces at their reflections in the window and throw avocados down the tin roof.

Howler Monkeys
generally sit in the palm trees in front of our house. They are pretty passive towards humans and enjoy eating leaves and "scolding" cars that drive by.

Cowboy Day

The kids in the 4th and 5th grade history class recently had a fun time learning how to use a lariat as a part of our study on cowboys and the Wild West. Our own resident cowboy from Montana, Josh Browning, impressed us with his lasso!

Pray for Bob Lillard!

Our friend and nextdoor neighbor, Bob Lillard, remains in a coma here at Hospital Loma de Luz following a sudden illness in early January. This picture of Bob and his precious wife, Zina, was taken at Christmas.

Friends from afar

The girls' good friend from Costa Rica, Katy, came to visit over Holy Week. They had a great time and it was hard to say goodbye again!

An Awesome Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed having our good friends, Jeanne, Katie, Corey and Lindy McCullough, come and visit for a little over 2 weeks in February. They enjoyed sightseeing, and just generally hanging out here with us and the monkeys!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CORI!!!

Cori had a birthday that went on and on this year! She got to celebrate early in Florida in December with Grandma and PawPaw Meyers, again on her actual b.day with her friends here in Honduras, and finally a third time with the McCullough family when they came to visit in early February!
